A full belly at the Hard Rock Cafe
The Hard Rock Café; this world famous restaurant in all the big cities will have been a first for me in Barcelona. The atmosphere is as its name indicates - very rock. The walls are decorated with CDs, dedications to big stars and Jimmy Hendrix's guitar leaving us speechless. Clips playing on the screens in the four corners of the room equally liven us up and even incite us to sing with the waiters' encouragement.
The menu offers a variety of hamburgers, each one as appetising as the next. It starts with the least expensive at 11 euros, up to around 17 euros. However, you don't regret the price when the dish is in front of you: the quality is there! The accompaniment of chips left our bellies stuffed.
You shouldn't be surprised to have to wait an hour an a half to be able to eat there! The waiter gives you a 'pager' which sounds when the table is available. The personnel are very welcoming, explain you everything and even try to speak your language - very cute with the accent. To know: If you inform the waiter that you also want to buy the Hard Rock café glass when you're ordering a beer, they will serve it to you in this glass and it works out entirely less expensive than buying it in the shop. If you don't inform the waiter, they bring you the beer in an ordinary glass. The shop is attached to the restaurant, where t-shirts for example are 25 euros.
