Oktoberfest Barcelona

The 6th edition of Oktoberfest is arriving in Barcelona from the 4th to the 14th of October in La Fira de Montjuic in Barcelona. Free entry.

The Oktoberfest Barcelona is organised in the purest German style, with a 5000 m2 large marquee, live music with bands and DJ's, traditional gastronomy, VIP areas, authentic fun and the German beer Oktoberfest Bier Paulaner, an Oktoberfest official.

It's an unforgettable experience and i think that if you're staying in Barcelona during October, there is no doubt that this is a must see.

As you can see from one of the photographs, the queue is enormous. But not to worry, as i mentioned before there is room for a lot people and it's worth the wait to try all kinds of beer and cuisine.

You can reserve a table a few days before the festival but this isn't necessary. There are plenty of tables and even though they are all reserved there is still loads of room, so no need to worry.

The prices are between 5 euros for half a litre of beer with a maximum of 12 euros for one litre of beer. The only thing that is a bit of a drag is the queues for the toilets are incredible (at least for girls). But if i don't remember badly, there are some toilets that you can use by paying a euro, these are a little quicker as not everyone wants to pay for it.
