Sagrada Família, Spain
Sagrada Família, Spain
This is a huge unfinished Basilica located in Barcelona, Spain. Church was raised to basilica in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. It was started to build the church from 1882 under the guidance of Antoni Guadi, though still the construction activities are going on. This Basilica has a unique nature in architecture.
I recommend you should visit this place because when you go this place you cannot believe your eyes. When I was there my breath was stopped front of the Basilica due to huge and unique nature of the place. It was unable to capture the whole church in to a photo from the short distance. Travellers should buy tickets to enter to the place which cost around 18 euros. But the prices would be changed according to the different categories.
I had to spend few hours enter to the church but it was worth to wait. The beauty and the artistic nature of the architectural design and interior was unique and amazing. Though I have been in lot of churches and other catholic places. That was the first time I saw this kind of a beauty. When I enter to the place for the first time my heat started to beat very fast.
My advice it to go early in order to not miss every corner of the church in your journey. The opening time would be varying according to the time period you are going to travel. My advice is to check the official website to get the accurate and current details about the opening time.
