Roc de Sant Gaietà

Today I'm going to tell you about a possible getaway which you can do if you're living in Barcelona for an extended period of time.

Roc de Sant Gaietà is a small town considerably close by to Barcelona and Tarragona. You can see it in half a day, so you can also explore other close-by towns, or, if you visit in good weather, the beach is an option to consider.

This small town is formed of no more than 100 houses, all painted white, which gives the place a special touch. You can sit down and have a drink right next to the sea or within the town itself.

At the end of the town, you will find a footpath which is 3km in length, where you can walk and enjoy the coastal promenade. At the end, there's a village where every afternoon, they open up mini shops and stalls where you can buy things.
