Nice small zoo just outside of the city

Krakow Zoo is less than 10 km from the center so you can choose the means of transport of your choice to get there (except train) trams and buses being around ten times cheaper than a taxi ;)

The zoo is a nice Sunday afternoon activity and I had a good time there, found it relaxing to just walk quietly and look at exotic animals, lie down in the grass for pique nique… There is also a place dedicated for children.

Cannot remember how much we paid but I think it was less than 15 zlotych (3,5 Euros)

Enjoyed seeing enormous tarentulas and snakes behind glass, that was the first time I was observing such animals ;) I guess it is pretty much what I can say about it, just did not expect so much diversity amongst animals for such a small zoo, you can see elephants, tigers, leopards, wolves…

Doesn’t seem to be the most touristic attraction as all signs were only in Polish, which I begin to understand more and more but for a non Polish speaker you might miss some funny facts.

Overall it was  a well spent Sunday afternoon where you feel you did something with your day!
