A Park in the Center of Lisbon
Parque Eduardo Sétimo is a big park in Lisbon whose name is in honor of England's King Edward the Seventh, after his visit to the country in the twentieth century. The park is located in the heart of Lisbon.
It goes from the top of the São Sebastião hill to the Marquês de Pombal square. It has a botanical garden inside it; a famous panoramic restaurant called Eleven; a bar/caffe called Linha D'Água which is very nice to chill in front of a small lake; a sports club with gym and tennis courts being some of the activities offered to its associates; and it is also the stage of a Christmas fair called Wonderland that has an ice skating ring, food stands, christmas decoration, a big ferris wheel, and many other things. It is also the stage of a book fair in May and June.
