Jardim Botanico

The Jardim Botanico da Ajuda is one of the oldest botanical garden in Portugal. It was built in the 18th century, and was mostly used to keep and protect species brought by the Portuguese discoverers from all over the world. Jardim Botanico has trees with more than a century of life and a spectacular view of the Rio Tejo, that finishes in Lisbon. It's open between 9 am and 8 pm and it's definitively worth a visit!
