About Subway
Subway is the largest sandwich restaurant chain in the whole world and nowadays it’s spread in more than 100 countries with approximately 42, 000 restaurants. While being in England, I always bumped into Subway cafes, because there were so many of them and people just went there and had their favourite meals.
What they offer
Subway offers its customers a wide range of some really delicious sandwiches prepared with new, healthy products and it has high standards in services. What is more, it’s pretty cool when you go into the restaurant, order a sandwich and the guy there prepares this sandwich in front of you. So that, you can watch how your sandwich is being prepared and have some corrections if you want to. For example, you can tell him to add some sauce or not to add some onions and so on.
Subway in Tbilisi
The very first Subway restaurant in Georgia opened on November 16-th 2013 in Tbilisi on Chavchavadze ave. 19. Since then, there has been some other restaurants opened in other places too, such as in front of the Sports Palace and another one on Vazha-Pshavela avenue and Marjanishvili Square.
This is a pretty cool place for friends to hang out. It’s very cozy and beautifully decorated. And the seats are pretty comfortable too. The atmosphere is nice and it’s open 24/7.
So, once me and my friends were hungry and went there in the middle of the night and just had some sandwiches. That is pretty cool! And there is also a free Wi-Fi, so you can just sit there and surf the Internet for free and, at the same time, have a great lunch or dinner or whatever you like!

They also have these daily menus here in Georgia and every day there is a discount on some kind of a sandwich. So, you can have Roasted Chicken Sandwich on Monday, Italian Picant on Tuesday, Avocado Sandwich on Wednesday, Ham on Thursday, Tuna Sandwich on Friday, Chicken Pizziola on Saturday, and Italian B. M. T. on Sunday for just 3. 95 Laris!
You can have breakfast menus, too, such as Egg & Cheese. And when you order one Pepsi or whatever, you get another ones free, and you may have as much as you want.
They have pretty delicious cookies, too, you should really try them out. Well, they don't cost low, they are pretty expensive for their size, but they are delicious, so, taste them!
Ordering at Subway
Well, the ordering process is pretty fun. When you go in, you get in line and, at the same time, think what you want to eat. There are some different choices and it really doesn't matter whether you have already planned what you are going to eat or not, you will still get confused about your decision when you get there and when the decision time comes. So, I usually take my time and decide what to have in my sandwich, which is a pretty large, if you want to know the truth.
First of all, you should choose the bread you want. They have Wheat, Honey Oat, Italian and Parmesan Oregano. Usually I choose Parmesan Oregano. They also have bread with sesame seeds and my friend really loves it. Then, you choose the length of your bread. It's either 30 centimetres long or half of it. Normally, the half is enough!
Now that you've chosen your bread, it's time for the toppings and that's when it all gets harder! There are so many toppings to choose from that you get really confused, as you want to eat them all, but that's too much for you in one meal and you have to pick just some of them. First of all, you should choose some cheese, then you choose vegetables, such as cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, etc. And you choose which sauces you want to include in your sandwich.
So, there are many things you can choose to put into your sandwich, and by that I mean the meat stuff. And, if you add them you pay extra for those. So, just beware of that! There are ham, grilled chicken or turkey pieces, pepperoni, salami, bacon, tuna, etc.
Now pay for your sandwich and have a great meal!
