The introduction
Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!
This time I want to tell you about this City Mall and what to do there and stuff like that. It’s really important, that you know about that place if you are in Tbilisi, because it’s one of the busiest places in the city and it’s in such place, where you can easily get and park comfortably and shop comfortably. Well, getting there during certain hours is not that easy , because there is a lot of traffic there and usually there are traffic jams there in the evenings, mostly. To tell you the truth, I don’t really like that place, however, it’s a great place for shopping if you are living in that area or somewhere around.
Well, there are some shops and supermarkets inside as well as technique stores and banks and stuff like that and you can find many things there, that you might need.
kFC
okay, first of all, when you enter the building, there’s this KFC fast food restaurant and there are always many people around and they have lunch there. Many of them were waiting for the KFC restaurant to be opened in Tbilisi and it was the second one in City Mall that opened there, I guess, and I must say, that the food there is pretty delicious and my sister really likes going there. They have these chicken stuff, which my sister really loves and the prices are not bad, if you want to know the truth. Until there was this KFC thing, there was this other café there, which was pretty good, too, and they had pizza and fries and desserts and you could sit there and have a lunch and hang around with your friends or family.
Nowadays, there are three KFC restaurants in Tbilisi and one of them is in this City Mall and people who love KFC go to this one mostly, I guess, after closing of the KFC on Pekini ave, nearby the metro station.
Biblusi books
Biblusi is one of the greatest book shops in Georgia and it has many offices throughout the city and the country and many people go there to buy books, so that they are pretty full of books and, besides, they have some other office things, too, I mean, pencils, notebooks, pens and all the other necessary office stuff, if you want to know the truth. It’s really a good shop and I recommend shopping with them to anyone. There was this big sale on New Year in Biblusiand we bought some books there, too, and the prices were pretty good, I must say. It’s like going into a bookland, where you can find many books there and they have not only Georgian books and books in Georgian, but also in Russian and French and English and you can really enjoy shopping there.
Super Supermarket
It’s been quite some time that I’ve known about this Super supermarket and first I thought it was just some lame supermarket, however, it really is not, moreover, it’s a really great supermarket and it has toys’ department in a separate chain or something like that and you can see there so many toys for both boys and girls, that you will get all confused and stuff about which one to choose. They have many things in the supermarket, including kitchenware and bathroom stuff and Christmas stuff and home decorations and everything, you know. We have many things at home that we bought there and my mother loves going there to see some things and buy some of them. However, I should tell you , that the prices are not cheap, I mean, everything there is very expensive, if you want to know the truth. They sell many things really expensive when you can buy similar things cheaply somewhere else, I guess. However, the stuff there is pretty cool, I mean, some of those things are really great and you would love to have them at home hanging on the walls or laying on the floor and so on and so forth.
Sushi Room
There’s this Sushi room upstairs there in City Mall, too, and while there are always some people around, it’s not a large place, it’s a cozy corner,where you can sit comfortably and eat your Sushi or some other things, too. I’ve been planning on visiting them and trying their Sushi out. I must tell you , that I haven’t tasted Sushi in my life and, well, I hope, that one day I will go there to eat some Sushi. Of course, I have been there many times, however, it hasn’t been a time when I went there and decided to have some Sushi. My friend loves Sushi so much, that she can eat plenty of it, and she says that I should definitely taste it, however, I still haven’t tasted it yet, but I hope, that I will soon.
Ponchito
There’s this dessert which is very popular in Georgia and they call it Ponchiki. Well , it’s a Russian word which was settled into Georgian language and you can’t really do anything about it, however, that’s not the point here this time. So, this dessert is made from pain dough and cream filling, however, it has some special taste, I can’t really describe it, but when you eat it, you just want to eat even more. It’s like , you can’t stop eating it, however, it’s very nourishing and eating just one of this Ponchiki makes me feel full. My sister, however, can eat plenty of them, I guess, because she really loves that cream filling and it’s like heaven for her. And my mother and father love those Ponchikis, too, and they used to buy them and eat them. Well, those Ponchikis are sold in bakeries and places, where they bake Shoti and Lavashi and, bread, in general, and each Ponchiki costs 50 Tetris usually.
Anyways, one day my friend took me to this place in Vake, where there was this Ponchito newly opened and one of our friends worked there, so that we would see her and, at the same time, have a taste of their production. Maybe you have already guessed, what the production was, and if you haven’t, I will tell you , that they made Ponchikis, only they were kind of smaller and sweeter and lovely ones, I can say. They had some variety of those Ponchikis and most of them I liked the plain one, of course. Each of them cost 1.20 Laris and they were pretty awesome, I can say. So, they told us , that they were going to be opened in City Mall, too, soon, so that I was looking forward to them openening there, so that I could get easily to them and eat some Ponchitos there.
So, if you love Ponchiki, you should definitely visit this Ponchito, because it’s comfortable there and they have some assortment of Ponchikis, which are very good and they also offer you some ice cream, too, so that you can really enjoy your visit there.
Mandarina accessories
I guess, everyone in Tbilisi knows about Mandarina and their accessories, and they have some small cabinets almost in every large shopping center and they are in City Mall, too, and whenever people want to buy some necklaces or earrings or bracelets and stuff like that with some good prices, they go to them and buy some things. Well, to be honest, they don’t have much stuff there, however, there are enough of them to choose for gifts or things like that.
TBC Bank branch
There’s a TBC Bank branch in City Mall and it’s really comfortablefor their clients to go there in that branch because they can have a good parking space and besides, they can multitask, I mean, they can go shopping, too, after finishing their business in bank. Though, this branch is pretty small, there are not many lines and queues there and you can easily do what you want and get their service and be satisfied with the service there.
Beauty Saloon
There’s even a beauty saloon there in City Mall and, with all those stuff that you can do there, you can even have your hair cut and everything. Look all this that way _ you are going to some birthday party and you need a great haircut, some great clothes and gifts and gift wrapping and you can just go there in City Mall and have it all done there. I haven’t yet told you about gift wrapping and some other things that you can find in City Mall!
Clothes shops
There are several clothes shops in City Mall and the prices are reasonable there, too, and the production is good, too, if you want to know the truth. We have bought many things there and I’m pretty satisfied with my shoppings there. You can find all sorts of clothes, including babys, girls, boys, women, men, sports clothes and athletics and panties and underwear and stuff like that. You can really buy almost anything there, if you ask me.
Perfume and cosmetics
As you enter the building, there you can see some perfume and cosmetics shop on your right. There are plenty of stuff, which you can choose and they have all sorts of things, including face and body care and brushes and toners and body scrubs and perfume and lipsticks and things like that. And then there’s this Lutecia on the second floor with all those cosmetics stuff and the very cozy and lovely environment.
PSP pharmacy
There’s also this PSP pharmacy in the building on the first floor near the TBC Bank and you can buy all those medicine and hygiene things and everything there and their branch there is not tiny at all, it’s the usual size PSP pharmacy, so that they have everything there and if you have their Smiley Card you can have some sales on some items, too.
All the other things
Well, there are many other things in the City Mall, including gift wrapping, where you can have any wrapping you want and they will wrap your gift and you can choose different wrappings and cards and stuff like that and they are all very lovely and difficult to choose, if you want to know the truth. And the wrapping doesn’t cost much, it’s like 2 Laris or something like that, I don’t really know for sure.
There’s also this waffle machine, where you can go and have some Belgian waffles tasted. I haven’t tasted them yet, but it looks like it’s worth trying.
There are also these Kura-Kura things, which are very popular nowadays and everyone has them, I guess. The prices range from 50 Tetris to 5 Laris and more, I guess, and there are always many people there looking and buying those stuff.
You can even buy some expensive wristwatches in the City Mall and some sunglasses and tobacco and rings and necklaces of silver and gold and, well, as you see, there are many things to do and buy in the City Mall, and I haven’t even mentioned the Alta-Okay technique shop, where you can buy some phones and tablets and vacuum cleaners and washing machines and stuff like that.
WC
Well, the most important part of the shopping is water closet, I guess, because when you are wandering through the shops and things, you will want to go to the water closet eventually, I guess. Or, at least, you will want to wash your hands after all those touching things and everything. So that, I must say, that they have a pretty comfortable and large water closet , which you can use and be pleased with the service.
Goodwill supermarket
And, of course, this Goodwill supermarket is one of the main reasons why there are so many people in the City Mall every day. To tell you the truth, there was only the Goodwill supermarket there some time ago and then they decided to have some other things, like shops and eating places around, so that they created City Mall altogether. and I will tell you about that in my another article about that Goodwill Supermarket.
