Nautico Club and its 'Caldero' dish
The Alcazares beach club is situated on the coast. It's a club which you can become a member of but it is quite expensive. If you are a member, you can use the deckchairs. However, even if you aren't a member, you should always go to the restaurant, which I recommend. There you can eat seafood, rice dishes, tapas... but above all 'Caldero', which is a speciality of the Mar Menor.

It's a plate of brown rice (browned from the fish juice in which it's stewed). It's best served with Ailloli (garlic mayonaise), which is less liquid-y than that from Belgium or France; this one is thicker as it has been cooked. A Caldero dish costs about 12 euros and you can order it for a minimum of 2 people. You should book in advance if you want to eat it as this is a dish which takes two hours to prepare- If you go to the beach club on a bank holiday or a week-end, I would also recommend booking in advance as it'll be really busy there, at the very least if you want to be seated on the terrace as it's true that the inside part it quite large.
