The Wine and Food Festival hosts a range of stalls managed by Murcia's different wineries, restaurants and confectioneries which sit in Murcia's Malecón Garden during the festival in September, in honour of the Virgin Fuensanta.
For just 9 euros, you get coupons which you can exchange for a range of drinks and tapas. I recommend this festival to Erasmus students and tourists alike, as it's a great way to immerse yourself in different food and drinks that are typically from Murcia. It's cheap, and it's all in one place. Beware that the drinks are usually stronger than the food, so you can find yourself feeling quite drunk; -).
The stalls are open from 8:30pm to midnight, and when they close, they raffle bottles of wine, glasses, etc. So don't throw away your coupons!
