Borough Market is without a doubt, London's best food market. Here, you can find an infinity of foods from different parts of the world for reasonable prices. You can have lunch at its stands for prices starting from 5 pounds. The quality of the food is generally excellent. In the market, you will find food from Greece, India, different parts of Africa, vegan food, a variety of freshly baked bread, oysters and a never ending amount of confectioners and chocolatiers. Whatever you may be looking for, you will find it there! More still, Borough market is also somewhere to go to do your food shop.

You will find exotic products from different parts of the world there; such as Volcanic salt from Hawaii, curries, chutneys, amongst many others. The variety of products will leave you open-mouthed. The vegetable stands offer fruits and vegetables that many people have never even heard of. There are also stands offering hamburgers made from exotic meats like deer or ostrich. Those looking to have a drink can also find what they are looking for here, given that the market has wine and artisanal beer stands. However, my favourite stand and the one that in my opinion everyone attending the market should try, is one named La Tue Pasta. It is somewhat difficult to find but taking your time looking for it is definitely worth it! The pastas at that place are simply amazing and cost no more than 8 pounds!

The movement and joviality of this place transform it into a unique corner; a whole world that goes unnoticed by the pedestrians on the adjacent street. Those who decide to follow my advice and adventure into the market: don't stop looking for the coloured umbrellas. They are extremely difficult to find but there is always someone ready to give you directions.
