London symbol – St Paul’s Cathedral
Every city has it’s a symbolical place – value for citizens, a destination for tourist and a sentimental history for the country. London, the capital city of the UK is widely recognised around the world with it’s the church with the high dome we know as the St. Paul’s Cathedral.
One summer day my friends got suggested to climb the Dome, which is among the highest in the world and during 1710-1967 was one of the tallest buildings in London. I thought that this is a perfect adventurous, as I have never seen London from the top!
Previously I visited the cathedral from the inside and had a chance to see the whispering gallery, which is 257 steps from the ground floor. It is fascinating how architecture makes this place charming and emotional. If you try to whisper while you stay on this Whispering Gallery, you will receive your whisper on the opposite side. What do you feel? Fear? Excitement? Give a go before you head for next hundreds of steps towards the top.
