THE QUINCE TREE CAFE in LONDON - perfect place to work & study
Last week while walking around London I accidentally met one student studying here for a few years. I thought – he lives in London for so many years, he may know hidden places, which are not widely known for tourists.
I asked him ‘’What place would you recommend for studying and working? With a nice view, peaceful environment and a calm atmosphere?’’
As we were looking for a less crowded place than Pret or Starbucks, which usually is so crowded, especially those at Oxford stress.
He asked me if I’ve been to Little Venice. I was shocked, as I’ve never heard about it. So, I made my research…
Little Venice – a district in London close to Paddington. You can get on Paddington Station and go for a walk along the Grant Union Canal and Regent’s Canal admiring beautiful narrow streets and architecture. In this place, time has stopped. For a second I forgot I am in London!
After a morning walk we went to one of the most beautiful gardens and found out, that actually there is a café in the middle of the garden! It felt like in paradise – green surroundings, various plants, delightful statues, ornaments, and an elegant Quince Tree Café.
Why not to stay here and work?
As I like to stay outdoors and have lots of space I enjoyed every moment spent in this café. Moreover, it was so exciting to admire the rain outside…
