Montorgueil District

The reason why I love and suggest this district is because you can walk around to the great shops in the area for shopping, have a quick espresso in some of the cafeterias which are full of young local people talking and catching up. It's great that all the bistros there have tables outside where you can enjoy a bottle of wine in great prices along with some dishes to bite. Additionally the location is great because you can walk around the "Les Halles" which is full of people enjoying their walk and where you can feel the real rythm of the city.

Rue Montorgueil is my favourite because it ends up to crossing the Saint Eustache church where you can enjoy your wine in a beautiful view, especially during the sunset. Also if you stick around until night, the bistros transform into cute bars where you can dance and meet very easily and freely.

Best place to have dinner around the district: Pirouette

My personal favorite for drinks and beers: Marie Stuart

To sum up, the district around Étienne Marcel metro Station it's the best non touristic choice for all students and covers every need.
