Juana la Loca restaurant is located in the heart of la Latina, where there is the el Rastro on Sunday morning (a popular flea market in Madrid). It is located at Plaza Puerta de Moros, 4. You can eat pinchos and tapas (raciones).

I recommend the tortilla, the foie gras (though a little expensive), the vegetable tempura, the mussels, served with a little curry sauce. The food is really good, it's an opportunity to taste Spanish cuisine that's a little more expensive but well prepared and low in fat.

I don't particularly recommend the french fries or eggs (huevos rotos). It was good but average, however some dishes (including those suggested) are really prepared differently and it's worth tasting them! The restaurant is big enough and there's a room in the back.

I recommend that you book your reservations because it becomes full very quickly since there are a lot of people. The restaurant was recommended in the 2011 and 2012 backpacker's guide as well as twice before. Don't miss out!
