The Tapas Of Dreams

Published by flag-gb Emma Gillespie — 5 years ago

As a Scottish lass on exchange in Madrid, I personally had not experienced Spanish tapas at all, the closest I've come is Mexican tapas. So I was pretty excited to see what all the fuss is about and Rosi La Loca fulfilled my expectations. The restaurant is cute, with wonderful, lovely, bright decorations and the menu is small but detailed enough to help make your decision on what food to get nice and easy.

I would recommend the patatas bravas. They are literally the best I had and considering I was in Madrid for five months, I tried A LOT. They were so good, they genuinely kept me going back.

I also was lazy, and didn't learn very much Spanish before I took the plunge and moved over to Spain, but that is not a problem, the wonderful waiters spoke perfect English, and even helped me with my attempts at speaking Spanish. They are wonderful people, especially Jose, he made my love for Spanish men come alive.

Honestly, please go. Drink the cocktails, eat the food and take your friends. You will LOVE it.

Heres a picture of when my Mother came to visit, and we got tispy on their wonderful cocktails.
