Déjà-vu!
When I was in the 9. th grade of high school (about 2012) I was doing a trip with my class to Madrid. We have been there for almost 2 weeks. What we really wanted to try were churros. So we were on the streets asking somebody where we can eat churros, or more like "Where are the best churros? ". They recommended us this chocolateria.
Now, in 2018, I was there again. Walking down the streets near Plaza Mayor with my friend from Germany who visited me, by coincidence I was seeing this shop and like "Wait. Isn't this the churros store where I have been in with my classmate back in 2009?". Then I take a look inside - yeah, it's exactly this store! For me it was crazy because some days earlier I told my friend that I have been to a great churro store but don't remember the name and where it is. And then, suddenly, by walking down the streets, I see this store again. The feeling when I was inside San Ginés the second time after about 6 years was really weird, like in a dream - Déjà-vu.
Talking about the churros - they are really good. There isn't too much oil on it, they are crusty, but not too crusty. The inside is soft. That's how churros have to be. The chocolate is well done as well. It's not very liquid and is quite bitter but at the same time sweet. So, definitively it's worth a visit!
