A Spanish tradition
Even if you are animalist, the "corrida" is a very ancient Spanish tradition and, like or not, it is a real show.
The Plaza de Toros in Madrid is one of the most beautiful and important "arenas" in Spain. The structure is impressive and outside it looks like an ancient roman arena, while inside, the show is magnificent when "Las Ventas" is full of spectators.
Built in 1931, this has rapidly become a symbol of the city and of the whole Spain abroad, but also a symbol to fight for those who are against killing of many bulls in each "corrida".
