Hi Everyone! Yesterday was a very special friends birthday, and to celebrate we had a surprise dinner. As she is considering becoming vegan, we thought the best idea would be to take her to Loving Hut. The truth is we didn't know of this restaurant previously, but a friend had been there before and recommended it so the decision was made.
Despite my initial thought being that this restaurant would be very expensive, in fact, it had normal prices and the food was really delicious. Also, there were quite a lot of options on the menu and they even had a set meal available all week (weekends included), and not only at lunchtime, it was also available in the evening.
We decided to order a starter to share, a main dish each and a couple of deserts between us all. We started with delicious tofu, muchroom and onion croquettes which were served with a tasty vegan mayo. On to mains, we wanted to try the vegan burger which came with chips, and the seitán curry. To finish, we couldn't resist trying the deserts, some spongey and mouthwatering chocolate and orange, and pumpkin cakes.
