Westin Hotel, Lima: InSitu bar

Hi everyone!

Today I want to tell you about a charming bar in Lima that I worked in on the front desk from when it opened. To see on Facebook that my friends in Peru still go there makes me feel really nostalgic.

You can find the bar within the Westin Lima Hotel and Convention Center, a 5-star hotel that's one of the best -and also the tallest- in Lima. This bar is also undoubtedly one of the best in the area, and whilst the hotel does have other bars, this one has a more intimate feel.

It's an English-style bar that's elegantly decorated with soft lighting that I love, and it's on the first floor of the hotel in a beautiful setting - I 100% recommend it! You can ask for a Chilcano - a refreshing cocktail made with Pisco - to have alongside some nibbles like sushi. Also, there are 2-for-1 deals on Chilcanos throughout the week, a great chance to try the cocktail!

Inside InSitu bar there's a staircase that will take you to the second floor which is ideal if you want a more private setting.

I really recommend visiting the bar to start your evening if you're wanting to head to a club for a dance afterwards in the Miraflores area.
