Wendy's Secret Garden

Published by flag-au Cameron Manion — 9 years ago

A beautiful, Alice-in-Wonderland type garden designed by one of Australia most famous artist families. Wendy Whitely, wife of Brett Whitely, designed the garden after his death as a memorium. It looks out over Lavender Bay and the Sydney Harbour but it so covered you feel like you're in another country. There are lots of nook-and-cranny type spots to find, little statues, bird baths, winding pathways going up a hill, rocky lookouts. It's a beautiful hidden spot and only 7 minutes walk from Milson Point station.
