Hello guys! Today I want to tell you are a place that amazed me in Milan "the Italian fashion capital". This gallery is one of the most central and famous of his city and is called Vittorio Emanuele II. Inside there are shops of prestigious Italian brands and although everything is expensive, there is nothing to lose by window shopping.

Above the entrance you will see the name of the gallery, "A Vittorio Emanuele II. I Milanesi". This is the view from the square of the other icon of Milan, the piazza del Duomo, which is a gothic style cathedral. The entrance is without a doubt, one of the most beautiful things that Milan has to offer in terms of architecture. Here is a photo that I took on my phone on my short trip to Milan:

When I entered the Gallery it was like entering a real work of art, full of shops and brands like Prada and Gucci. I can tell you that one thing that surprised me a lot was to see Mc Donalds. I couldn't take a picture of it at the entrance but it was something that stuck in my mind when I passed by this place where you'll find many well-dressed people, as well as visitors taking many pictures in this place that has become a landmark of Milan. It is also a free place where you don't have to buy anything and you can just walk around and appreciate the impressive ceiling:

Christmas decorations

I went to Milan at Christmas time and in addition to getting used to the art in the Italian Gallery, they had a big Swarovski Christmas tree as you can see in the following photo:

The dancing lights were incredible and if you look closely you can see that there are also some paintings of people, around this octagonal dome. I hope that you can see it in this picture that I took:

A tradition of going around the bull on the floor

In the centre of it there was an image of a bull on the ground which caught my attention because I saw different tourists circling around it and taking pictures.

At that time I went with my aunt and my cousin who live in Italy and they explained to me that you have to go around that circle of the floor three times without stopping and that means you have to go back to Milan, guess what I did? Well of course I took the opportunity to g around it to go back to Milan (and I think that it will be soon because the nearest consulate of my country is in Italy). Here is a photo of me going round it like crazy:

Just as a reference, this bull is halfway to the Gallery.

Also the gallery is named after the first king of unified Italy. I advise that you go to it to see the art and its ceiling as well as going to visit the cathedral and the theatre, Teatro della Scala. It is not to be missed!

I want to take this opportunity to show you in this image the city's coat of arms, in the centre you will see a red cross with a small white background. I hope that you have enjoyed reading this short experience of exploring Italy, which is a beautiful country. See you soon!
