The children's park and children's swings at the García Lorca Park

My favourite place in Granada is the García Lorca Park for the following five reasons:

  1. It's the most special park, solely because it has everything you're looking for - running tracks, children's games, a museum, a designated area for dogs, artesian wells, a very interesting river, canals, and different tree species. There's also an incredible zip-wire that makes the children love it even more. Then there are terraces where you can relax with a delicious orange juice, or a red wine.
  2. This park offers you the opportunity, whatever your age, to bask in its glory throughout the year. For example, in the summer you can sunbathe in the recently mowed grass, or stay in the shade of large branches of the palm trees.
  3. What I liked most was that one day we had a picnic in the García Lorca park for my best friend Maria's birthday. We bought balloons, cake and had a wonderful party. What surprised me was that even the older boys could use the zip-wire and the slides.
  4. You can listen to music, play sport, stroll, walk the dogs, and take photos there, as well as being a place to meet up with friends, or simply a place to escape your daily life.
  5. What many people may not have noted is that it always smells nice, the air is always fresh, the bins are always clean, and so is the park. This is because the employees really do their job well, and for this we are truly thankful.

You can't miss it!
