Club Mae West Granada, the best!

The club Mae West, is found in the Neptune shopping centre, in the centre of Granada.

It opens every day, from 6 in the evening until 8 in the morning. Between 6 in the evening and 11 at night, the atmosphere is relaxed (Pub), and from 11. 30/12. 00 in the night the dancing starts.

The entrance into the club during the Pub hours is free, and during the dance hours it is 10 euros with two drinks included. Although, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays are often free. On Tuesdays live monologues are performed which usually start at 11. If you would like to go, it is advisable to go between 10 and 10. 30 to get a good seat.

The floors and walls are both decorated with wood of rustic effect, with Marilyn Monroe style antique photos everywhere, and that of other important actors and celebrities of the same period, like the style of the place as a whole.

It has three halls: the first (medium sized), where they play different music, is the entrance hall to the club, and is often the main hall during the pub hour, with tables and chairs, although it does provide a large space to dance.

From there, four different places can be accessed: On the same floor, the main corridor can be accessed which leads to the other halls, to the terrace where people go out to smoke (with its corresponding chairs and tables), and to the bathrooms of the hall and the top floor of the club (going up the stairs), which is a balcony-style hall, from where the rest of the rooms can be seen from above.

In the main corridor, the male and female toilets are found at both ends, and the entrance to the central hall (the largest) where the main attractions are found, the monologues, the go-go dancers, etc. The music is of excellent taste, like dance, disco etc.

Also at the end of the corridor, is the “Reggaetón” hall, which is medium to large sized where the music is Latin (salsa, reggaetón, bachata…).

Finally, the only thing to add is that in my opinion it is the best club in Granada. So, enjoy! Of course, I must add that this club is full every day, whether it is Monday or Saturday.

Book it in advance, and have a good time at the club!

If you want to have fun in a different way at this magnificent club, I would recommend that you grab a box seat or go to the stalls, especially if you're going with a big group of people, and it gets filled up very quickly, and you can end up getting split up across the club.

It's a good idea to have a meet-up point, and somewhere where you don't have to wait to order drinks, as you'll already have drinks if you're in a box seat.

We made our reservation for Mae West via telephone. The number is on the website: Granada Marcha and they manage it all for you without you having to go the club. I'm saying this because there's a 902 number for it, but they charge you for the call, and you can't always contact the right person.

Have fun and enjoy this marvellous place.
