Petrin Tower

Hello again! :)

I think all of you heard about Eiffel Tower, right? located in Paris, really nice, romantic and high. A beautiful place, even though I haven't been there yet. But today I'll tell you all about my "Eiffel" tower from Prague. When I saw it for the first time I said " oh wow, looks like Eiffel Tower". But it's not, even though it kinda resembles the Eiffel Tower from Paris.

Petrin tower was built in 1891 as a transmission tower also as an observatory. It has 63.5 metres high. You can get up there by stairs and also by elevator. Guess how many stairs are till the top? Yes, you are right, 299 stairs :)) Well done. hahaha! 

It is quite challenging, but you can do this for sure! I was there with one of my friends and she was really afraid of hights, but she made it also! It is such a beautiful view from the top of the tower. You can see the whole city, Prague from above! I will post some photos soon so you can see who beautoful it looks from above. If you visisted Prague and you didn't visit Petrin Tower you have to go back, hahaha, ok, not really, but it's a nice view from above. There are many points in Prague where you can see the whole city and it's amazing really but from almost 64 meters I guess it's the best point in Prague.

The entrace is not for free, it costs 60 czech crowns and it euro currency it should be 3 euros, but this is the price for student. It's half price, It's so good to be a student really, you get discounts everywhere almost for museums, transportation and food sometimes, also hotels and for sure other discounts. The best time of your life! Being a student! :)

It is not so important what you study, as long you are enjoying it and being passionate about it and of course explore the fun side, be an erasmus student, or travel, do interesting stuff, tell cool stories, experience as many things you can when you are free and without "problems". You will never have this opportunity and time again! So enjoy it while you can!

As I told you, in the photo above you can see the city centre, you can see Charles Bridge and most of the houses, the Valtava River , the National theater and more(just take a closer look, if you are familiarized with Prague). 

I enjoyed going all the way up there in the tower, I took photos and I has happy that I discovered finally where Petrin Tower is.

Before coming here I wanted to come several times but I went in wrong places and I found myself lost:)) but finally I was in there. Also when I was on my way there I walked around half an hour, up up up... and yeah, that was my fist exercise for the day, then the 300 stairs all the way up. But trust me it was worth it, really!

I would go again, if I will have the chance in the future. If you have also the chance you should, its a beautiful experience, even if you are afraid of hights, now it's your chance to do it.

Another thing that I liked about this tower it was the fact while I was going up, there were some levels where you could stop and take your breath for few minutes and admire the city, then again from a higher level, till you get to the top, where is the best view of course!

So you don't need to hurry to get up there, also there are a lot of tourists so the place is full most of the times. Everybody comes to see the tower and also the view from it.

Petrin Tower should be on your list when you go and visit Prague!
