Lipscani - Old town

What is called here the "Old Town", as its name suggests in English, the old city of Bucharest. There are 4 to 5 streets full of cafes, bars and clubs! Until 5 years ago, this part of the city did not have any coffee! (So I can't tell you where the students were going out and partying... ).

Generally, in the evenings, we do a pre-party before going out in the Old Town, which is more often referred to as 'Lipscani'. Strada Lipscani, or Lipscani Street, is actually the only one street amongst all of Old Town, but we still call that part of Bucharest. Lipscani, in fact, it is pronounced "Lipscan" in Romanian, we do not pronounce (or at least in a very deaf and inaudible way) the "i" ending the words.

A little further into the Old Town, we also find the 'pasajul villacrosse', that is to say that two streets are entirely devoted to shisha bars. The two streets are covered by a reaaly beautiful glass roof, which is reminiscent of Parisian architecture.
