My visit to Madame Tussaud's

I visited Amsterdam Madame Tussaud's in November 2014. It was a lovely noon. We paid something like 20 or 25 euros per ticket and went in. They even take a picture of you in the entrance with a cool background and at the end of your journey you should decide whether or not you want to pay for that picture so that they can print it out for you.

So, the very first thing we saw was people from historical ages, such as Peter Stuyvesant _ the last Dutch Director-General of the colony of New Netherland in the seventeenth century, then we moved on to royals, film, DJs, world leaders, music, art, sport... each section is very well organised and decorated.

Historical figures from a few years ago

There was also Second World War section where we saw Sir Winston Churchill _ the great Prime Minister, orator and also known for a name "Iron Curtain", Lenin _ the father of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev _ the eighth and last leader of the Soviet Union, Anne Frank _ this little girl whose diaries became very popular after his father published them, Queen Wilhelmina _ Queen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and people outside Netherlands remembers her for her role in the Second World War.
