Okay I wasn’t so sure what to call this list, I'm not sure if the word “snack” is right for it either, but anyways these places were sort of my favorite places to go when I wanted to have something light to eat, not quite food but rather pastries or drinks. This was also the case when I had no time to eat or had no money to get proper food, but let me disguise my broke student identity for some more time. I personally think these places are the most top notch places in all of Malaysia and you should definitely try them out. They are perfect to just get something on the go and enjoy while running to college for an exam, well that holds true in my case, I hope not in your cases.

Number 5: Roti Boy

Okay ever had something so tender that it melts into your mouth the moment it enters it? This is exactly how Roti boy buns are, oh gosh, too smooth and tender. They have this salty buttery taste in their buns that is heavenly. What I love the most about their buns are that they are so fresh and warm, like most of the time they were just taken out of the oven. There’s been times that I got ones right out of the fridge but mostly the fresh out of oven ones and those are the best. The price is also so freaking affordable, given we are all broke students, there is nothing better than cheap buns. If I'm not mistaken the normal Roti boy original bun is about 2. 65 ringgits and comparing to the size of it, it is pretty good. I literally never remember exact prices for anything so imagine how much I love this. My other favorite is the buttermilk boy, which is slightly more expensive, something about 2. 85 ringgits, this one is also great. Just try all, that’s all I can say.

Now about locations, the store I always went to is the one that is located in Suria KLCC shopping mall; it is exactly located upon the entrance of the shopping mall from the LRT station of KLCC. I swear every time I was walking from the LRT to the mall the smell of fresh buns was wafting through the air, ugh it was torturous, not really I always ended up buying some buns even if the line was really long. Anyways the other locations include 1 Utama and Midvalley mega mall.

Number 4: Auntie Anne's

I think I mentioned this before in one of my other blogs. Auntie Anne's is basically everything you look for in a pretzel. First of all they are super fresh, most of them baked pretty much an hour before you buy them, and in most of the stores you can actually see the dough and the process of baking it. Auntie Anne's is also one of those places where the smell makes you so dizzy and hypnotized that you actually just start following the smell. Among my favorites we have the caramel pretzel, which is basically a normal pretzel that comes with a caramel dip. There is also this small hot dog bites, which have cheese in them and gosh they are so heavenly. The drinks I don’t really suggest the passion fruit one, cause I personally don’t like it but the lemonade is amaze balls, again personal preference don’t hold it against me.

As for locations, you can literally find Auntie Anne's everywhere, in every shopping mall; it's a pretty famous snack place. The outlets I'm aware of are in KLCC, pavilion, midvalley and sunway pyramid. I'm sure there are more outlets that I don’t know of.

Number 3: Each a cup

Okay so this one isn’t a snack place really, it's more of a drink place. I love the drinks here though so I thought it’d be pretty unfair if I didn’t mention it. So there is this small place for Each a cup, in Ampang point shopping center, that I was a regular in. I have almost tried every single drink they have to offer and won’t lie that I had one of those member cards that you could get stamped, and you would receive a free drink after 10 drinks. Not that great of a member privilege but I was buying the drinks anyways so might as well get something out of it. Okay so some of favorites include the strawberry milk tea, this place generally has really good milk teas, granted you like them of course. But my all-time favorite would be the peach smoothie, a drink my best friends and I used to have all the time, it tastes like summer, it was always refreshing to have it specially after long college days. The prices were kinda affordable the drinks are about 6-7 ringgits each.

Now about locations, there is my regular outlet in Ampang point. There is one in sunway pyramid and one in sogo, I'm sure there are more outlets, so look them up.

Number 2: Big apple donuts

Okay big apple donuts brings back so many good memories, shout out to their store in Nu sentral, I was always so tired coming back from college after taking about 2 trains, so I would stop here buy a bunch of donuts and finish all before I even got home. My absolute favorite is the Tira-cino donut; oh gosh it was sooooo good. I hope I'm emphasizing enough how good it was. Their other donuts are as good so try them out. They got about 2. 80 ringgits a piece but I think it is cheaper if you buy 6 at least. There are a lot of branches of big apple donuts like there is one in Low yat plaza, one in Midvalley and one in Nu sentral.

Number 1: Cinnabon

Definitely saved the best for last. This place is every good adjective in the English language. there is no doubt, that this place was set up by god itself to give us a taste of heaven, okay I'm exaggerating again in terms of description but I swear this place is really good. Man I should be getting paid because of all this promotion. Okay so they have these creamy cinnamon rolls, that oh my god are everything. They come in this really small bites and then bigger rolls and I definitely suggest getting the bigger rolls because the small ones are simply not enough. They cost about 7 ringgits something if I'm not mistaken, but they are super filling so forget about dinner if you have one in the afternoon.

Now sadly there aren’t many branches of Cinnabon in Malaysia, I don’t even know why but I always went to the Sunway pyramid branch, it's the most well known one. There is also one in 1 Utama apparently but I haven’t been there so I don’t know. All I can say is that don’t forget about these heavenly rolls. Really don’t.
