First of all happyyyyyyy new year, I could not be more excited about this year so many good events yet to happen it's all very exciting. I have also quite a few things planned for my blog, so stay tuned. Apart from that I wish you all a very happy new year, hope this year is filled with lots of joyous occasions and new adventures. Now I'm still on holiday mood, that basically means binge watching shows all day and eating ice cream so I haven’t been back on exploring Tehran sites but I realized since this is the first year I'm separated from all of my best friends whom I grew up with, I would write about something closer to my heart. Yes don’t worry, I'm still going to introduce a new place to eat in, it's just that I have so many wonderful memories from this place. So in the name of god, let’s begin the first blog of this year.

This place is a little French styled bakery and café. You would definitely feel at home there, the feel is super cozy, comfy and plain. It is by all means homey. It's the perfect place to unwind and have intellectual conversations while enjoying some good coffee and pastry. The reason I love this place so much is because it is affordable and chic at the same time that is not very common, you either get chic and fancy or affordable, but this is all together. The quality and the variety are also really good. It's not only a coffee shop, you can also get breakfast or lunch there, both of which I strongly recommend. But before I get into more details let’s settle how you guys can get there.

How to get there:
The exact address is this: No. 7, Jalan Delima, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Well this is basically located off street of Jalan Imbi. So location wise it is near both KLCC and Pavilion. There is no public transport medium to get there though, the closest you can get is to KLCC and then you should get a cab or use “Grab”. It won’t take more than 10 minutes from KLCC to there and the price isn’t much; make sure the normal cab drivers don’t overcharge you. This is why I prefer using Grab because at least I get to see how much I need to pay and then decide.
Descriptions and experiences:
So I already described how comfy the place is and I'm sure you guys get the picture. On slightly rainy days try sitting outside for a change and enjoy the rain, I say slightly rainy because you can’t even consider sitting outside on too rainy days. Anyways moving on from the atmosphere and environment; let’s get to the menu and food options. Let’s talk about the drinks first, the coffees are good, not great but pretty good enough, apart from the coffees, there’s the chamomile tea and ice wild berries that I suggest trying out, I generally like teas so don’t mind me, I'm always trying new types of teas everywhere I go. The strawberry chocolate drink is also really good, try it out. Moving on from the drinks, there is the small bakery area, where you can pick out your own pastries and then check out at the counter. A lot of bakeries have this option in Malaysia, but rarely any of them provide baked goods that are this fresh or warm as the ones in Levain. I especially like the pizza slices, they taste really nice. The size is also big enough to fill you up and they don’t cost much.

The hot food menu, as they call it there, is super affordable, the pastas range from 17 to 22 ringgits, I really like the beef bacon spaghetti and the carbonara spaghetti, both of which are around 17 bucks. I haven’t tried any of the sandwiches or the burgers; I usually go here for the pastries not for the burgers, but giving how good the quality of everything else is I’d expect nothing less from the burgers.

Now if you want the full cake menu, I suggest checking out their website which I left in the description, I'm just going to tell you guys about my favorite ones and the ones I have personally tried. The carrot cake is super nice, it's creamy rather than dry, I wish I knew their recipe so I could reciprocate it at home. It comes at small, medium and large sizes and also slices. The chocolate caramel cake and strawberry chocolate cake are also among my favorites.

So check them out, man even talking about this has got me super hungry.
Ohhhh and then there’s the macaroons, damn man I love the macaroons here, they are filled with happiness and joy, no but seriously the price of each of them is about 3. 30 ringgits but if you buy more it becomes cheaper. From the cookies I absolutely adore the coconut raisin butter cookies, my friends always called me weird because of it but whatever.
I guess I covered everything, from drinks to cookies, hope you guys do get to check out our safe haven and let me know what you think.
Cheers
