Named after the name of the alley where it's located, Burggasse 24 is a vintage clothing store that sells rare racing jackets that can vary up to 300 Euros. Although some people come for the clothes, most meet up for studying or chatting up after a long day. The cafe exudes a cozy vibe with lots of plants and beautiful chairs and couches, as well as a fireplace in the winter.
The menu could not be any simpler: A variety of breakfasts and pastries, as well as hot and cold drinks. (I highly recommend their peanut butter brownie and Chai Latte, they hit home.)
This place has been my favorite go-to place ever since a friend of mine introduced it to me in the winter of 2017, and it has officially become our winter place. Not only that but the area where it's located is known as Vienna's hipster place, with lots of cool shops selling comics, flags, stamps, and even more vintage items.
Burggasse 24 is definitely a way to experience the hip vibes of the city. Although usually packed, a good time to go is during the mornings and weekdays.
