La Casa de las Conchas

Salamanca is a very mystical place with lots of surprises in its walls. The city's monuments are all rock buildings with scuplted details.

La Casa de las Conchas is another one of those, and it has shells all over its facade. It's a very beautiful structure built in the 15th-16th centrury to pay tribute to spanish royalties. Nowadays it's a library open for public for free!

Inside it there's a yard surrounded by gothic arches. You can also go up to the second floor and see the house from above and admire the Clerecia towers.
