Catedral de Salamanca

The cathedral is the place to be in Salamanca. It is enormous and breathtaking. You can see the building even if you are very far away and about to enter Salamanca from the highway for example.

It was refurbished in 1992. As an easter egg they constructed a small astronaut and put it next to the north entrance door. The astronaut is meant to be a symbol for the time of today. I have no idea how an astronaut is representing the time of today but... well... But it's a cool object.

The details on the east gate are outstanding!

Also the inside is pretty impressive! It's so high, you can't imagine!
