Crêpe'oz

On the occasion of my best friend's 26th birthday, we ate around ten in this creperie. Having never been before to this kind of restaurant, it was an evening of discovery for me. First of all, we were greeted very warmly and noticed that many more groups had come to celebrate. The decoration is simple but pretty and bottles of ciders are there on the table from the start, even if they aren't there to be consumed. However, several ciders are proposed as well as Breton beers such as the Lancelot.

Reading the menu, we saw a wide variety of choice. For example, you can choose the buckwheat galettes with mushrooms or the Hawaiian. The foodies can choose a little salad as an accompaniment - Which is what I chose to have with the saumon'oz, made up from smoked salmon, gingerbread and salmon to squeeze on it - a delight! This type of crepe is around 11 euros.

Those a bit more creative can also create their own crepes with the indicated ingredients. At the end of this already generously sized meal, food lovers can give into the temptation of the dessert crepes. I chose to treat myself on this special evening and I tried the Nutella smarties one. I don't know how it holds it's particular rolled up form, the sight of which already making you hungry but the first bite is almost a culinary orgasm.

For those with less of an appetite, there are ice creams or the café gourmand with it's ball of caramel ice cream at your disposition. The puddings are from 6 to 8 euros. On leaving this very good restaurant in the centre of Selestat, our bellies are full and happy. I feel that the price could seem high but the quality is there!
