Petite France is the historic district of Strasbourg. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Sight which is testament to its beauty.

La Petitie France

Many shops and small restaurants will delight those wishing to walk around and go shopping. If you have the time, take advantage of it by stopping in one of Petite France's small cafés to drink a hot chocolate (or something else! ) and eat a cake while enjoying the typical Alsatian architecture.

If you'd like to see Petite France from a small height, go to the Barrage Vauban (Vauban Dam). You can go to the top of the dam and admire the canals and the architecture of the area.

Special mention: within Petite France, if you look hard enough, you will find a Christmas shop. It is open all year. It's always fun to go into a shop in the middle of August and feel like it's Christmas. A more than odd experience that will leave you feeling incredibly festive!
