Beer for less than One Euro

Mercado Provenzal is a chain, but I did not know it the first time I went. It can be found at Nervion, near the Sevilla FC football stadium. I lived right near there, and I must say that during the first month of my stay I only went one afternoon.

So what about it is special? Beers are 40 cents! No, I am not kidding, small beers (cañas) on tap cost 40 cents. I don't remember what brand the beer was, but it wasn't the Cruzcampo (the Sevillan beer), but it was good regardless. You can accompany your beer with small tapas worth less than one euro each or with Iberian ham sandwiches, also worth about one euro each. There are many Mercado Provenzals in Seville, and the one I'm referring to is not the most popular, that honour goes to the one in the Plaza Encarnación, below Las Setas. The one at Nervion, however, is the most popular among football fans seeing as it's attached to the stadium. Mercado Provenzal can also be found at Alameda and Triana.
