Alfakeke bar is a small bar in Seville, situated at the beginning of San Vicente street, very close by to the Museum square and Campana plaza. I stumbled across it when passing by, and it's my favourite out of all the ones I have been to; it has a fantastic atmosphere. It's run by two young French guys who are really friendly, you will immediately become friends with them. It's a place which offers a wealth of entertainment, depending on the time and day of the week.
Alfakeke can be where you go for your morning coffee, somewhere where you can have a great breakfast which will always be accompanied by good tunes and international newspapers. If you are more of a party animal, you can try their rich and varied tapas: lasagna, meatloaf, montaditos (mini sandwiches), salads, tabulé (dish made from various vegetables), accompanied by a cold beer or a glass of wine. The prices are quite affordable, the tapas are around 2 euros and beer 1.
Depending on the time of year, Alfakeke has various things going on:
- On Mondays they screen short films, which are made up of thematic cycles through which you will learn about the history of cinema.
- On Tuesdays they host "languages exchanges", English-French-Spanish.
- On Fridays is a very special day because you can eat authentic French food in Seville, Crepes! Both cold and hot ones are available, depending on what you prefer, and prices vary depending on the number of ingredients you want on your plate; they range from 2 to 3, 50 euros.
- FinallyOn Saturdays, you can listen to Seville's up-and-coming bands free of charge. These varied concerts: jazz, song, soul... are usually acoustic (due to the size of the bar), and are an excellent way to start the night.
