How do you get there?
The restaurant, Rock n' Ribs, has more than one branch in Querétaro: if you are close to Los Arcos, it would be easier for you to go the Bernardo Quintana branch (address: Plaza San Isidro, Boulevard Bernardo Quintana 41, Unit 5, Pathe, 76020 Santiago de Querétaro, Qro).
Restaurant style and decor
The restaurant, Rock n' Ribs, has a 1960s to 1980s rocker vibe and is decorated with some wooden furniture with images of rock legends, like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, etc. The restaurant doesn't have extensive lighting, given the theme of the restaurant, so you are going to frequently see little lamps or yellow lights. Also, in the upper part of the restaurant, you can see a collection of beer bottles from all over the world, which form part of the place's decor.
Type of food served
The menu includes several varieties of chicken wings at a very affordable price (12 for $100 Mexican pesos), which are accompanied by lots of different sauces. If you aren't used to spicy flavours, you will have lots of other choices, but if you do want to try them, you will have a thousand and one different options in terms of spiciness, from mild to extra hot. They have lots of types of starters, from cheese dippers, nachos, French fries, etc., and you can put together combo platters to share between 2, 3 or 4 people. The burgers are presented really well and taste delicious. The cheapest costs $86 Mexican pesos, and the most expensive, $120. But, in all honesty, they are all worth the money. (In the photo attached, you will be able to see the simplest of burgers offered. ) They also have special dishes that they make with different types of spare ribs. Every day of the week, they have a different promotion that is offered until 10pm.
The restaurant has a cool atmosphere; the music that they put on whilst I was there was Latin rock, which is a really good genre. The waiters attended to us very quickly and all of them were really friendly - they were always checking if we needed anything and took our rubbish away when it started building up.
The name of dishes are named after the great rockers in history, for example: the following dish is called PIXI (slices of steak with BBQ, onion glaze, cheddar cheese and nachos).
And this burger is the 'Rocklásica'.
If you are trying to watch your weight, don't forget that they also have a salad section too! There is a dessert section, all of which are really delicious and original. Their drinks section has all the alcoholic drinks that you could ever imagine, including national, handcrafted and international beers, as well as tequila, vodka, etc. From Monday to Saturday, they close at 1:30am, whereas on Sunday, the restaurant is open until 10pm.
I would absolutely recommend this restaurant!
