How do you get there?

The restaurant, Robinson's Crash, is located on the most important thoroughfare in the city of Querétaro, Boulevard Bernando Quintana. Given that it's located close to Los Arcos, you could arguably say that it's easy to travel to the restaurant by any and all modes of transport, as it's very close to the city centre. For your personal reference, the restaurant has its own car park.

Description of the restaurant

At a glance, the restaurant looks like a huge shack, as it's built out of thick, opaque wood. Something that's rather peculiar is that the ceiling has what would seem like a light aircraft hanging from it, or what's left of it, as it has "crashed" into the restaurant's roof, which is where its name, Robinson's Crash, comes from.

Upon entering the restaurant, however, the impression you were given from its exterior changes completely! The interior is very elegant, both in terms of the layout of the tables and chairs and the bathroom's decor, as well as the waiting staff's uniform.

The food

From the moment that we asked for the menu, we could see the sheer lack of dishes they have on offer; there is really not a lot of variety in the menu. There is a section with starters, desserts and, of course, something for children. For being an "expensive" and "elegant" restaurant, you would expect that the dishes were prepared with higher quality ingredients. In my case, I ordered a burger at a cost of $130 Mexican pesos and it ended up being a disappointment. It was not only overpriced, but the bread, cheese and meat were of such low quality that if I had gone to a burger van on the street, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. The fries were not good either...

The drinks were acceptable, but it's not like they were anything particularly special. Maybe the only notable thing was the dessert, as they bring you a trolley with a huge variety to choose from and they are delicious.

Price-quality ratio

This was what annoyed me the most about the restaurant: the quality is not at all good. I have eaten at much better and much cheaper restaurants.

Would I go back there again?

Never ever. It was a very disappointing experience that caused my bank balance to take a serious hit. The waiting staff were at least attentive, and now that I think about it, the restaurant wasn't completely empty.
