Magic of the Water Palace

Published by flag-ro Dănilă Adriana — 5 years ago

One of the first things I saw in Warsaw was the Lazienki Palace also called the Water Palace. When I went the grass was green, the trees were smiling under the playfull sun, birds were singing on branches, ducks and swans were swiming in the water, squirrels were jumping from one tree to the next and people were all over.

I recommend this place to every student. The park that hosts the Palace is called "Warsaw Royal Bath's Park" and it is extraordinary and enormous. Never ending trails that lead into small woods, streams that run through the park, lakes that take your breath and, of course, interesant traces of neoclassical architecture.

When I went I was lucky, I could see all the buildings in the park for free. Here they have certain days when the entrance is free, one must only pay attention to their website. I read this one and I think it is really good, you get a lot of information: Lazienki Krolewskie. But, either you go when it is free or you pay for the entrance it is worth it.

I'll attach some photos so you can see how it looked when I went. I will only put pictures with the outside environment so you will have to discover how the inside looks.

Like a P. S. I will go back next week to see how the climatic changes have transformed the nature and how the atmosphere of the palace seems now.
