Romeo's house

Montecchi's house, from Shakespeare, is located near Juliet's house.

You can only see it from the outside, but you can feel the mystic of the famous story. It is a very beautiful house, entirely built with carved stone and with a simple sign identifying it. Its reddish color can be seen all around the city, and the front door also blends with its surroundings.

I wasn't looking for it when I found it. I was just passing by, but something about it caught my eye and I was stunned when I realized whose house it was. Cagnolo Nogarola, so was the name of the XIV century man who, supposedly, inspired the tale.

With its castle vibes (the strong exterior wall pushes away any sort of voyeurism), it becomes mandatory that you should stop and take the time to admire that splendour architecture.
