Tivoli

If you visited Copenhagen but haven't visited Tivoli, you didn't use your time right. That's what I found while googling the most famous places in Copenhagen.

What is Tivoli and why is it so popular?

Tivoli is just an amusement park which has a perfect location in Copenhagen, 5 minutes from the main square. It is not a simple park, Tivoli is unofficially considered a luxury amusement park. Well, prices speak for themselves. Prices vary depending on the time of visit. You don't only pay for the actual activities but also for the entrance.

So where this popularity comes from?

Maybe it's so popular because Tivoli is so beautiful, especially when it is enlighted during the night. It looks like you're in some magic place. I didn't take any ride, I just enjoyed walking on the roads.

There are often concerts by popular Danish bands. If you don't consider their fan, try to visit Tivoli during another day - there are crowds of people and it is difficult to move around.

What is more, Tivoli has its own hotel which is obviously one of the most expensive in the city.

P. S. If you have a Copencard, you enter Tivoli for free. Another option is to enter through Tivoli hotel, just pretend you are a guest there.
