Mermaid's garden
Just in front of Praça da República, a great meeting point in Coimbra, is Jardim da Sereia (or Mermaid's Garden, if translated). It is a very beautiful and green park in the city, great for jogging and enjoying nature.
Inside the park there is a great fountain with portuguese tiles and plants. Really beautiful.
You can also find a coffee shop, a little art gallery and a soccer field inside the garden. Great place for any taste.
If you're in Coimbra, you should visit this place!
