Jardim Botânico - Botanic Garden

Located right next to the University of Coimbra, the Bothanic Gardens preserves most plant species studied by the Portuguese people in the last five centuries. There, you'll find trees from all the ex-colonies and from all Portugal.

It's a great place for enjoying the outside during the summer, when it's really hot in Coimbra. Also, many activities take place there, such as Yoga classes on Wednesday, photography expositions and academic events.
