The most beautiful place on Earth

We arrived around lunch time in Benidorm, bus from Valencia, where we landed. After a few purchases at the Mercadona, a market very ok from the point of view of diversity and the price, I took a walk to the hotel-not knowing that there's a bus that can be taken right from there and up in front of the hotel! -. The idea is that I did not find this information anywhere on the internet and I walk about 8-9 miles! Now, for those who choose this destination, I write to know, as their bus station In Estations are there Bus 3 goes in the resort.

The resort is huge, pretty airy, with high-rise buildings, very high feel like you are in America. It's a very pleasant feeling to get on the floor and you look around 43, which looked kinda like in Texas. The hotel where we stayed the first night is called Servigroup Torre Dorada hotel 3 *,

Benidorm is a town with many apartments for rent, hotels, high, with a very wide and long beach, where the sand is fine as the hourglass and almost white. Here and there, on the beach are clusters of Palm trees where you can shelter from the midday sun. For walking, jogging, rollers, bike, along the beach lies an Esplanade designed very nicely, with care for people's preferences.

The area of the coast (litoral) of about 200 km from the province of Alicante (Comunidad Valenciana). Major cities: North-Denia (port for departures to Ibiza and Formentera) continued southward Moraira, Calpe (Calpe), El Albir, Altea, Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Alicante, Torrevieja. Transport: by plane from Bucharest, Cluj Napoca (Wizz Air and Blue Air)-destination Valencia (all year round) or Alicante (in season). For one of the Manises (Valencia) airport to see the routes the buses ' schedule ' ALSA ' '.

The sea is a very similar color to the sky, shore is smooth and the entry into the water is slow. Compared to other places where I have been I noted special attention given by lifeguards (many and vigilant) especially for children. Downtown, it is a very beautiful view, with a statue in Moorish style, which extends towards the sea, with a tongue of land. The images there are breathtaking: in front of the sea, right in hotels and high-rise buildings. Basically it's the sea that unites the old and the new. Gorgeous!

Organization

We plan to visit many more but at the expense of home has not been matched with that of fair. The fact that I was staying far enough away from the city center and the first day I went to app 12 km we kinda messed up the plans. If you go i do not recommend accommodation and rest in the center of the city because is very noisy, bustle and the vast majority of hotels have balconies above pubs and restaurants. Do not forget that it is very populated by Englishmen drink lovers. Depending all the time from a means of transport we managed to visit the following:

  • Downtown: the downtown night day is a breathtaking scenery, as if at some point it turns the roundness of the Earth.
  • Alicante: almost the whole city from the bus stop to the hotel I walk from Alicante. It is a spectacular city, similar to Malaga, with long chilly, parks with Palm trees and bananaspaved tiles with Moorish designs.

It is a city built for Spain, with atypical hotels and aparthotels, culminating with very high Gran Hotel Bali tallest hotel in Spain and possibly in Europe (186 meters 776 rooms served by 18 lifts). Many tourists prefer the blocks of apartments that rent for months, others all season. Note that along the coast are many foreigners own properties (houses, apartments, luxury villas, etc. ), a fine example being the town of El Albir (7 km from Benidorm) where there is a large Norwegian community. Benidorm owns several beach areas (sanded only) of considerable lengths, widths and 3 being the main Playa Levante (adored by the English), Playa Poniente, Playa de La Cala (where there is the Gran Hotel Bali), all labeled with the blue flag. The entry into the water is smooth on all portions of the beach ideal for families with children. Admission: all beaches is free (for sun loungers and umbrellas, you will pay between 4 and 6 euros if I remember well).

Along these beaches you will find the way which will take you directly to the ' El balcon ' of Mediterraneo where you have a great view over the sea, the beaches and the island of Benidorm. With access to the balcony, and you will reach the old centre of the town and the Church of San Jaime '. Also, in the old town and near the balcony you will find a small port, where you can make different trips by boat, such as the island of Benidorm, but also to the island of Tabarca. You will also be facinated by the Hotel Bali, where for just a few euros, you can enter in the building, take the elevator for a panoramic view over Benidorm's. Like any other tourist town, and it is full of cafes and restaurants, pubs (the number of British tourists is huge) and the lovers of shopping will not make trouble; you will definitely leave with some memories.

We stayed at Hotel Princesa 4 *the last night because it was closer to the bus station. It is not to far from the beach, it has a great pool and places to make barbeques. It was very nice, clean and the room was very big. The food was not as delicious as I expected but I enjoyed being there.

It was love at first sight between me and Benidorm. It is like a BenYork. Huge buildings, fresh air, english people, music, hot and the sea. It is perfect!
