The European Solidarity Centre from Gdansk is a modern museum with a big library, multimedia library, 1 caffee place and one place where you can eat, and a lot to discover in the exhibition. The permanent exhibition is about Solidarity movement and revolutions in Europe from 1989. The building, similar with a big ship, was financed with european founds by European Union and on 31 August had the 2 years aniversary. I strongly recommend this place if you want to discover history step by step and the sense of solidarity. Here, after my Erasmus student mobility at The University of Gdansk, I had the chance to do my Erasmus Traineeship because people working in the museum are very open minded and when I told them about my idea of an internship for 2 months there they answered: "The more you want to learn, the better." So, from now on, the more you want to discover, the better and for sure ECS is something that everyone should discover!
