Five Below is one of my favourite stores that sells miscellaneous things in the United states of America. It somehow reminds me of the stores, called Ale Hop, that you can find in Spain and Portugal. This store is prefect if you are looking for a last - minute funky and cheap birthday present or other gift ideas. And the best part - the Five Below store is called Five Below because everything in there costs five dollars or less! And the best part - the items that you can buy there, are high quality!
Where is Five Below store situated?
Five Below has several stores across the United states of America. The one that I visit most often, is situated in Beavercreek near Dayton, Ohio. You can find it on 2500 North Fairfield road, and it is surrounded by other cool stores, which I am planning to describe in my future posts.
The Five Below store is impossible to miss - it is the first one in the row of stores, and it has a big blue sign with white letters on it above the entrance.
What can you buy in there?
A short answer to this question would be - everything kitschy! The store is divided into several sections. The first ting you see when you enter are big baskets of items that cost one or two dollars, and they usually put items that are not selling well in there.
On the right side of these baskets, you will see Christmas decorations. Year - round. My favourite item in that section are definitely the emoji Christmas tree ornaments. And the best part? They only cost one dollar!
Ty plush animals. You know, those adorable stuffed animals with huge eyes? They are usually quite expensive, but in Five Below, you can buy the medium sized ones for five dollars, and the small, stackable ones only cost two dollars!
How cute are they? I mean, cheap. And cute.
Regular stuffed animals. In this section, you will find a lot of unicorns and cats, and even llamas. I do not know why people became so obsessed with llamas in the last few years, but let’s admit it, they are super cute.
Decorative pillows and blankets. Most of them have, of course, either cats or llamas on them. And they are adorable, soft and cheap.
Clothing. The clothing selection in Five Below includes sweaters, T - shirts, socks, pants and even shoes! Most things in this section cost five dollars. And their sweaters are hilarious, especially if you are a big cat, dog or unicorn fan. All I have to say is that after my last visit to Five Below, I have four new sweaters in my animal motive sweater collection.

Llama lovers will not be disappointed either.
They also sell pet leg warmers. Pretty cute. And useful.
More shirt designs...
Make up and body care. They have a big collection of different make up brands, including some o the more famous names. And their body care section is just amazing. Try to smell their bubble baths and body lotions. Also, you can buy three bath bombs for five dollars. In some other stores, a single bath bomb can cost as much as seven dollars. So you can imagine I bought almost a lifetime supply of bath bombs during my last visit.
Travel - related stuff. This section features suuuuper comfy, memory foam travel pillows (One of them had an avocado pattern printed all over it! I already have three travel pillows, otherwise I would totally buy that one.), travel - sized cosmetic bottles, both empty and with the products already inside, and cool travel diaries and scrapbooks.
Board games. This section includes traditional board games, such as Uno, card games, checkers and chess, and also some more unusual games, including, air hockey, skee ball and jumanji. If you do not know what that is, see a movie with the same name. Needless to say I had to buy it. And hopefully, no elephants will appear in my home when I play it.
Sports. This section includes both sporting equipment and team wear. Of course, they are all knockoffs, do not expect originals. But they do look pretty close to the originals.
Electronics. In this section, mostly everything costs five dollars. And what can you find there? Well, prepare to be amazed! From phone cases, usb chargers, car chargers, headphones and earphones, to power banks. I am not sure about the quality, but It sure is cheap, and the items look expensive.

Travel mugs and water bottles. They have a big selection, so you will definitely have some trouble when deciding which one looks the best. Or the cutest. Yes, some of the bottles have animals on them.
Since they have a big selection of travel mugs and bottles, it can be really difficult to pick just one.
Stickers, coloring books and notebooks. And a lot of glitter everywhere. You can also find play - doh, crayons, coloured pencils and other arts and crafts supplies in this section.
‘Useless’ toys. For example, a barf emoji, slime and the splatter tomato. This section includes some prank toys, such as a moving cockroach and a nail through the finger prank. Everything in this section costs one or two dollars. And trust me, the more useless these toys sound, the more fun you will have playing with them.
Girly stuff. This section includes cosmetic bags, some cosmetics ‘for beginners’, and even some books about girly stuff. Ah, puberty.
Books. And we are talking about brand new books here. Of course, you will not find the newly published books in this store, but if you know someone who loves to read, why would you buy him or her a book for thirty dollars, when you can get that same book for five dollars or less in Five Below?
A few words for the end…
Who doesn’t like shopping in cheap stores? Five below is one of those places where it is really hard to spend a lot of money simply because everything in there is so cheap.Or if you would like to get out of the house for a while, Five Below is a great place to do so. And who knows, you might find a lot of things that you like in there!
