Preparing hake fish in halogen oven
Introduction
Hello everyone, I hope that you are all doing just fine.
In this article I want to tell you about the hake fish and the preparation of it in my halogen oven.
The other day I just decided to have this hake fish bought in the supermarket because I just wanted to have it in my freezer and I would prepare it whenever I wanted. And I had decided that I would have it prepared in my halogen oven because I didn’t want to have it cooked in that frying pan with oil and flour and everything. I knew that it would get stuck on the frying pan and everything would become a mess and I would hate myself for that.
They had this sale on hake fish in Nikora supermarket. They have sales for 2 weeks for the same products and then the products are changed and others are on sale and so on and so forth. And this time they had sale on hake fish. However, it was the other type of hake fish which was on sale and I thought that it was on those ones, which were in a package of 1 kilogramme and I took that one. When I got to the cashier, it didn’t say that price that I knew it should cost, so we understood that the sale was not on that one. However, I wanted the hake fish so that I bought that one and had it in my freezer for some time until I had time to prepare it in my halogen oven.
Preparation process
These halogen ovens have high and low racks and I decided to have a high rack put into it and just put the hake fish pieces on it and prepare them that way and, well, it was a pretty good idea, if you want to know the truth. So, I had those frozen fish pieces just put on that high rack and turned the halogen oven on for 40 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius and let them get cooked. After a couple of minutes, when they melted and everything, I just took some salt and poured it on those fish pieces. Then I had to turn them on the other side and poured the salt on those that side too and just continued cooking them in the oven.
First of all, I want to tell you that you can take those frozen pieces and directly put them into the halogen oven and cook them, it’s not a problem. It can first melt them and then cook them, so you don’t need to take them out and put them into that water-filled bowl and wait for them to get melted and everything. You can just take them out of that package and put them into your halogen oven and turn it on and leave it like that. You do not even need to bother turning them around because if they don’t get all fried and stuff, they will still be cooked pretty well and that’s really a time-sparing thing. While the fish is being roasted, you can do whatever you want and do not worry when to turn them around or have it burned or stuck on the pan or something like that.
It’s pretty easy to cook fish that way into the halogen oven and maybe you think that I write about this halogen oven again and again and telling you to buy it because it’s really a good thing for cooking, or because of some advertisement or something like that.
However, it’s really true and I just want you to know the benefits of the halogen oven and why you should have it while being on Erasmus exchange or something like that. This thing will really change your life. For example, I hated preparing fish dishes, especially if it was the case of fried fish because the preparation process of it is pretty bad. I mean, you need to put that fish into the flour and then add plenty of oil into the frying pan and heat it and then put those fish pieces on it and cook them and you should even turn them around and that is a very bad moment, which I hate. And, besides, there’s this smell in the whole room and everything gets this smell, and your clothes smell like fish and it doesn’t even help to have a window open or have this suction thing turned on, you know.
When cooking your food into the halogen oven, you just have this opportunity to cook fish healthy, without any flour or oil, and imagine, how much calories and oil and bad things you just avoid by cooking into the halogen oven. The best of all there’s no smell outside the halogen oven! And that’s just great, if you ask me. Well, there is some smell, of course, however, it’s not like that one, which is produced while frying the fish into the frying pan, you know.
That’s just something horrible, and then if you go out with those clothes that you were wearing while cooking that fish or had them in that room or something like that. You just have that smell of fish all around you and everyone can smell it around and it’s just something that I hate and I always try not to go outside with those clothes, which I was wearing when I prepared something, let that be fish or potatoes or whatever.
Anyways, that fish in my halogen oven just came out great and delicious and, well, if you love its skin to be crispy, you can then turn the heat on the max temperature and let it get roasted. Because my father loves this fish skin and he loves it to be very well fried and to be crispy, we turned the heat on the max temperature so that the skin would get crispy and it did and that’s why we did that, so it’s pretty easy to do that. And, besides, you are not using any oil, remember that, and it is very good because usually when you cook fish in a frying pan, it need plenty of oil to get cooked very well and imagine all that oil is in that fish and you eat it.
So that, preparing fish in halogen oven has many advantages and I really recommend preparing fish like that because that way you don’t have to pour that oil on it and you don’t have to turn the fish around in every minute and you don’t have to watch carefully not to get the fish burned and everything. Therefore, trust me on that and have your fish prepared in halogen oven and if you don’t have one, it’s time to buy one because you will use it every day in every meal preparation and you will be very satisfied with your purchase.
Well, that was me telling you about the preparation of hake fish in halogen oven. You should really consider preparing this fish, because it’s really delicious and it doesn’t have much of the bones and it’s pretty easy to eat. And, well, if you consider my suggestion of buying a halogen oven and preparing things in it, including fish, and, well, fish is perfectly cooked in it, then it will just be amazing and you won’t regret it, I dare to say. So that, you can get a halogen oven and have healthier meals every day without too much effort putting into them and you will love preparing some things with it, which you didn’t really love doing before, because they needed some time and energy and things like that. But now with that you can prepare so many things easily that you can't even imagine.
