Tsjing Tsjing rooftop bar

Tjing Tjing is a rooftop bar situated near Cape Towns famous party area Longstreet. The menu offers a variety of delicious cocktails, but wine and beer are on there as well. They also foresee finger food and small tapas for those who like the nibble on something while enjoying their drink.

They offer free winetasting on Wednesdays. When I went there, I could choose to try 3 white wines or 3 red wines made by one of the many local wineries. They sent their own workers to present the wines, so the explanation you get is very professional. You can buy the wines afterwards, but there are in all means no strings attached. 

The rooftop bar is half open, perfect for warm summer nights. In winter they close the glass in between, so you won't get cold. I would describe this bar style as "England meets Asia". It's perfect to start a night out or to catch up with friends over drinks. Don't let the bouncer scare you, entering this bar is totally free.

Also, the ground floor is owned by Dear Me a lovely place to have breakfast or lunch.

Drink tip: Try the "Porn Star" cocktail if you want something different. It serves you a fresh passion fruit, drifting in a glass filled with vodka, vanilla and lime, accompanied by a champagne shot. De-li-cious!
