Cooking at home: Fried condensed milk balls

Hi everyone!

After all the savoury bites I’ve shown you already let’s make a sweet treat, which as well as being easy to make can be eaten as a snack or an everyday desert. It consists of fried balls of condensed milk.

Ingredients:

  • four eggs
  • a spoon of butter
  • one can of condensed milk
  • one spoon of yeast
  • three cups of flour
  • olive oil
  • sugar and cinnamon powder (optional)

Method

  1. With a whisk or electric whisk bear the eggs, butter, condensed milk and yeast until it is all thoroughly mixed.
  2. Add this mixture into a bowl and slowly add the flour, stirring until it is all mixed in.
  3. Using either your hands or two spoons form the mixture into small balls.
  4. When the balls are ready place them in hot oil and cook until they are golden brown.
  5. Then, take them out and place them onto a plate on a serviette to absorb any excess oil.
  6. While waiting for them to cool a little, mix the sugar and cinnamon and dust the balls with the powder.
  7. They are also delicious without the cinnamon sugar but personally I prefer them with it.
